Mount Hope Lutheran Church and Child Development Center recently celebrated the groundbreaking of their 1.5 million dollar remodeling project and building of a new sanctuary and classrooms funded in part by Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF.) “This upgrade of our current facility and the addition of a new dedicated worship sanctuary is to better fulfill our vision to reach our friends and neighbors with the truth, love and hope of Jesus Christ," said Mount Hope Pastor Dan Ritter. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Sunday, October 26, 2014 following their 9:30 a.m. worship service.
“I was very pleased to participate in Mt. Hope’s ground breaking last Sunday. It represents the culmination of many meetings, conversations and plans on how the congregation is moving forward in ministry in their neighborhood,” said MNS LCEF VP Kurt Fuhr. “I’m already looking forward to the dedication service!” If your Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) organization is exploring expanding or other funding needs, contact your local district LCEF vice president or call 800-843-5233.
