Apply Now for Six $1,000 Scholarships

Connor Mullen received his Iowa District West (IDW) LCEF $1,000 Scholarship on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014 at Faith Lutheran Church in Adel, Iowa. Mullen is currently a student in the nursing program at Iowa and following graduation is contemplating attending the seminary. Read more about his story here. Lutheran Church Extension Fund offers $1,000 Scholarships

Six $1,000 LCEF upper Midwest districts Scholarships will be awarded this year. Your college choice can be anywhere, as long as it is accredited. Awards are not based upon the type of degree you are pursuing. Students must be a current LCMS member in one of our upper Midwest districts.

A one page essay and two letters of recommendation are required. Graduating seniors and current college students should visit lcefuppermidwest.org/ scholarships for qualification details and application. Deadline to apply is Feb. 28, 2015.
