"Thank you [LCEF VP George Miller] and all the staff at MNN District for the fantastic workshop. Once again, I learned a lot. There is so much to learn in our work and I find these workshops especially helpful,” wrote a district treasurer after attending the annual spring treasurer’s workshop on Sat., May 16, 2015. A total of thirty treasurers attended the Minnesota North (MNN) District workshop at the district office in Brainerd, Minnesota. Thankful for the district and congregation's partnerships over the years, Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) was blessed to sponsor the event.
Presenters included Concordia Plan Services Benefit Consultant Brad Peterson, MNN District Treasurer Mike Uran and MNN District Bookkeeper Angie Ringstrom. The fact that the event was greatly appreciated by the congregation treasurers from around the district was confirmed in the myriad of positive evaluation comments received. "Excellent-thank you," "Great way to keep treasurers up to date," "Workshops are very informative," "Good information and networking," “Speakers were very good," "Well done-glad I made the trip” were just a few of the attendee responses.
