Jurss Accepted Scholarship

$1,000 helps the 'weak side' when paying college tuition which is why Jordyn Jurss was all smiles last Sunday at her home congregation, Trinity Lutheran Church, Sheboygan, Wisc. 

Jurss accepted her South Wisconsin District (SWD) Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) $1,000 scholarship check on Sunday, February 14, 2016. 

Jurss is a current student at Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) studying Lutheran Elementary Education with a minor in mathematics.

Applications for 2016 upper Midwest districts LCEF scholarships are being accepted now. Learn more and apply here. 

The 2016 deadline to apply is February 28! There will be several $1,000 upper Midwest districts LCEF scholarships announced this spring. Current college students and graduating high school seniors who are also Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS) members in the upper Midwest districts are encouraged to apply.
