LCEF Supports MN Pastor’s Conference

Hundreds of pastors and their wives gathered at Madden’s Resort on Gull Lake, Brainerd, Minnesota, on May 9 - 11 to attend the 2016 Minnesota State Pastor’s Conference.

This is a joint conference of the Minnesota North (MNN) and Minnesota South (MNS) Districts of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS). The conference theme was ‘A Living Hope: 1 Peter for Pastors.'

Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) sponsored various events including an ice cream social and giveaways for the pastors and their wives throughout the conference.

Mrs. Darlene Fretham, a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Springfield, Minnesota won the LCEF iPad Mini giveaway at the Ladies Tea for pastors’ wives on Monday afternoon. Pastors were also eligible to register for an iPad Mini giveaway. Winners were Rev. Joshua Reinke, Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, McGregor, Minnesota, and MNS District Executive Assistant to the President Rev. Dr. Mark Noren.

Throughout the conference, LCEF staff shared opportunities for attendees to support and partner in ministry. LCEF, incorporated in 1978, is a continuation of the Synod's service to the entire LCMS.
