On November 6, 2017 the Kaleidoscope Fund, a granting program established by LCEF, announced a $100,000 grant to the LCMS Nebraska District. LCEF District Vice President of Nebraska Nate Meier (pictured third from left above) presented the display check at the December Nebraska District Board of Directors meeting on Friday, December 1.
"With the grant funds, the district plans to launch a program to help district pastors increase health and leadership skills while maximizing the efforts of healthy leaders," said Meier. Representing the Nebraska District in the check hand-off were District President Rev. Richard Snow, Chairman of the Nebraska District Board of Directors Kent Warneke and District Executive for Mission and Revitalization Rev. Richard Boring.
